I use a 95 lb. braided line and a 50-100 lb. leader.  I can haul in some

Monsters and I'm on a Quest.......

I see you smirking, 95 lb. line, but I'll wipe it off your face!

This Guy's SOOOO Huge, I About Popped A Nut Styling For The Photo, BUT I'M THE ONE LAUGHING

Paddlefish, one of America’s largest freshwater fish, are popular among many Missouri anglers. These fish can weigh more than 100 pounds, and their strength and speed gives anglers a thrilling experience.  Paddlefish, also known as spoonbill, have a long, paddle-shaped rostrum that accounts for about one-third of their body length. Paddlefish are cartilaginous, which means that they have no bones. They have small eyes and no scales. They are filter feeders, and they spend most of their lives in open water eating microscopic animals called zooplankton. During warm weather they can often be seen jumping from the water.

I have a saying; "You never know what you're going to pull out of the river!"

You don't actually "catch" these fish, you "snag" them.   I/We don't go snagging, we go fishing and it's all "catch & release".  OK, maybe I shot an Asian Carp through the head, but it was an exception.   These paddlefish/spoonbill just floated up to the ramp for picture opportunities.   We fish for Fun and my plans are to catch a few  their size.

You just never know what the river's going to give you.....

Jack was too much FUN and we also enjoyed seeing James as always......

And NO, I didn't have a problem Saluting James as the Disabled Americans Veterans Commander of Auxiliary Unit #7, Carson City, Nevada.  Give him a holler if you need some help or questions answered, or just to say HI!

We've had the river property for 3 years now and thanks to a few visitors, we've managed to have some FUN.  However, now that Sgt Mac's Dinghy Dock has amenities, our work is finished and we're ready to start a new chapter, MEGA FUN!  We have a whole 10 hours on our new RiverPro Jet Boat and a $35 GoPro Chinese knock-off to record our antics.  Below is one of our 1st attempts and since, I bought her a harness and the dogs all have life vests.   If you're not too old and can handle getting a bit dirty, then you need to plan an adventure and leave the FUN to us.........

 In Turtleman's own words ......
