Mornings start out a bit slow with lots of coffee, doughnuts, and a hot homemade breakfast.  The suns out, and the back deck is the perfect place to eat breakfast and sip on your Bloody Mary.  Saturday's a long day with many activities planned......... Start Your Engines!

Our first activities included some golf at Eagle Knoll and some more motorcycle riding to include lunch and a stop by Mid-America Harley to check out the events and have a beer before starting Happy Hour back at the Open House.

Somehow, there weren't any pictures taken, so you'll just have to believe me when I say Everyone Had FUN!

"A must play... dramatically and delightfully different" [Gateway Golf Monthly}

Golf Digest once again honored Eagle Knoll Golf Club in 2004. This most recent award was a 41/2 star rating in Golf Digest's 2004-2005 edition of "Best Places to Play", which ranks courses in the United States. Eagle Knoll shares this honor with only six other facilities in Missouri and is the only property in it's market to receive such a high rating. Additionally, Golf Digest ranked Eagle Knoll Golf Club as the third best value in the nation behind Bethpage State Park G.C. in New York and Pinion Hills G.C. in New Mexico.  This is the fifth consecutive year that Golf Digest has honored Eagle Knoll Golf Club.

While some were playing Golf or Riding, Steve Weger is visiting Dave Gfeller along with Joe Edwards and Steve Polofka.  Dave lives up by Kansas City and was unable to attend the Open House.

And then there were those that attended the Mizzou vs. Ohio game.  Not only did they get to see Mizzou win for the 5th straight game, they also got to see a B-2 Flyover.  As you can see, the sun is still out. Thanks Guys!   There is a power above!

Gary Pinkle Assaults Sgt Mac

AP Report; Sunday, July 23rd 2006, Sgt Mac and his lovely wife Jill were attending the Credence Clear Water Revisited Concert and enjoying hors d'oeuvre’s at the invitation only party when Gary Pinkle, head coach of the Mizzou Tigers forced his presence on the Macs.  After numerous beers and show time approaching, Gary waited until the Macs entered the private elevator before entering himself and immediately closing the doors.

The elevator was reported to have problems and took well over two minutes to make the short descent.  Witnesses reported hearing argumentative voices, but Pinkle denied allegations and said the Macs were upset he missed their winning trophies at the Mid America Million Dollar Bike Show, and that maybe he got a little loud.

An undisclosed source reported there was a confrontation over a few Mizzou vs. Ohio Football tickets and a Curley Joe Jam Session, but this reporter doesn’t find the connection with the CCR concert.

At this time, no charges have been filed and calls were not returned from Mike McReynolds, aka Sgt Mac

What a weekend; Three CCTers, Two Bike Trophies, CCR Concert, and a confrontation with Gary.

Gary was trying to squeeze me for more visitor passes to the Open House.  I reminded him he was lucky to have the two I gave him and those weren’t any good unless he wins.   A new quarterback will be starting and nobody knows what’s going to happen.  I told Gary he either Kicks Butt, or we don’t see his butt.

Now don’t get me wrong, I like Gary, but just because he has a Harley isn’t everything…. He’s gotta win some games too!

Follow Up; Gary won the game and much more.  He had to attend a news conference and missed Curly Joe..... The price of winning?
