Comments about the web site: Wahooo, great site, better than TV. After seven years I have kicked my addiction to malaria tablets and I am now "Out of Africa". Managed to travel up to San Pedro, it is between Gibraltar and Puerto Banus, Spain before the Uhaul died. My home is your home especially if you work for the IRS, so rally on me when you're in the country. Watch out for the greatest comeback of all times as I am waiting to hear if my slot in the pipeline has been approved! Any teams out there looking for a great vacation (training) area give me a holla!
Comments about the web site: Great site, I signed the book like you told me. HooYah!!!
Comments about the web site: Mac, I just came back to Mitrovica Kosovov. Have been working here for over two years on various contracts. As you probably know, war devastated this area and the United Nations is the government here. KFOR (Nato troops secure the area and try to keep Albanians and Serbs from killing each other. I have done things from observer missions to chief of security for various sectors. I am now in the private sector operating a security company. Lots of fun and adrenalin. I was in the states for xmas holidays and have recently returned to the area. I had a little time on my hands and decided to check out your site. In the story that follows I am giving you a little insight into my life here in Mitrovica, the hotspot in this area. In one short month, being back in the states safe and sound, I had quickly forgotten how crazy this place could be. Everything was (seemingly) normal. Albanians and Serbs have been fighting here for several years now and I am in the middle of it. Riots are expected today and I secretly hope they do not occur. Last night, I attended an international party and all went fine. As it was late, I went home to my aparment in the north side of mitrovica where the serbs live. The Ibar river divides the north (serbs)and south (albanians). I went to bed at 1230, nothing unusual. My window overlooks the street which goes up to the hospital and the monument area. At 0430 I was awaken by strange noise. I looked out of the window and saw a funny picture: a bunch of KFOR soldiers running up the hill, backwards!!! I rubbed my eyes: yes, they are running up the street. A moment later at Serb mob started moving up and down the street, angry, nervous, tense and confused. It seemed eerie; this is what Mitrovica is like. Serbs were attacing Albanian infiltrators and the soldiers were trying to protect them. I was quickly reminded. I immediately felt the tension in the air which I used to feel before. Later, around 6, they were all gone and it was quiet again. At 7am mike india zero and sierra five base (UN security)broadcasted a warning of movement restictions and I thought to myself: that's it! I'm gonna be trapped here all day! Oh well, Just another nomral day. Luckily, the restiction was lifted an hour later and I left for Pristina the capital city here. Throughout the town soliders are running around conducting weapons searches in buildings. Tension stays high here. On the way to Pristina I was thinking about how this might seem to somebody living in the states with law and order. Okay got to go. Congrats on the nice site. I will have to explore it. Vidimo se. Still can't recall? Remember the ten (10) mile run from Sicily DZ to the School? I was the ass hole who pointed out that you and the other instructors were not "dressed alike". They had jackets, and you did not. Any way, how you doing? I'm fine. Brenda and I now live in Colchester, Vermont. Maybe you have been up here doing some Ice Climbing in Smuggler's Notch? We closed the ski area down last weekend. Still had over 5' of snow at the top. We are off to Stowe of Sugarbush next weekend. As you can see we don't want to give it up. We are doing fine. Comments about the web site: Sgt. Mac, I am hard wired and ready to go to Afganastan to do major eye for an eye damage. Can you get me cleared. It's only been 32 years since my last jump. I changed my e-mail address to amustang@cwo.com. I also lost my address book when I changed servers. Do you have e-mail addresses for CCT available or is it classified? I finally have got my old photos being scaned onto a disc so I can e-mail them to you. It includes both 2nd APO teams from the late 60's. Both of which served at the Combat Control School at Sewart. There is also one of my wedding pictures. The only Combat Control wedding I know of. I'd like to know if there are others. The smaller group photo is of my Combat Control School class if I remember right. Dam, I wish I could go to Afganastan. Art
Comments about the web site: Heh Mac -- Don't know if you remember me or not, our trails crossed on several occasions. I was with CCT from 1972 through 1976, final assignment was with Det 6, 6th Aerial Port at Clark. Many of the oldtimers were there at the time, Norrad, Pantages, Gonzalez, Lampe, Brabham, Rapp, Bryant, Korin, etc. etc. - quite a group! quite a time! Previous assignments were in Forbes with Mr. Erickson, Little Rock AFB with another great cast of characters. Many great memories, alot of them revisted through your web page. I have thoroughly enjoyed browsing the pictures and commentary. Great Job! As for myself, I have been working in the oil field since finishing school after separation. I currently live in Moscow, Russia working for Conoco, and will probably continue here for the next couple of years. I do have quite a good assortment of pictures and when I get back to the US permanetly it will be my intention to provide you with them. The last time I pulled them out was at a reunion in 1984. Anyway thanks for taking the time and making the effort to keep the comraderie, the adventure and the pride a live! HooRah Bob Brennan

Comments about the web site: I'm back after many months absent. Plans have been implemented for a return visit to the Philippines, 2/25/02 to 03/14/02 with my wife Annie. We are going over to join the fun of hunting for Abu Sayyef heads. No really, I am being enducted into Annie's tribe of headhunters in the North. They are called Ibalio, Igorot, Ilocanos. I have to dressed in a g-string, dance around a fire at night, get porkblood mashed in my long blonde hair, have live geckos, flowers and rice stuck in it for the headdress, then drink Tapei (rice wine, fermented over a long period of time) out of an Arinola which is a woman's piss pot. I asked to use a clean one but its not really necessary. If anyone remembers me in the PI 74-78, let me know. Annie and I have been together for 27 years and 4 kids, one grandkid later. I'm still f-----g nuts. I work for the VA in Buffalo, running the ER and the hospital at night. They have saved the rubber room for me these past 23 years. Haven't needed it yet but I know its available. Has anyone ever run accross Carl (Squeeky) Simpson? If so tell him I'm looking for him. Anyway, you all have a great Christmas. Love and kisses; papadankennedy@yahoo.com
