Comments about the web site: After many attempts to bring sound and animation to this site, I think I finally got it. Notice the "think", I've learned the computer can fool you a lot. Anyway, the site is more entertaining and user friendly. I did extensive work on the Guestbook areas. You can only see them (all) if you signz the book. You can see by now that I made it easy view comments. Please stop by anytime to see who's been by. This is probably my 100th test and I cross my fingers it works. Later, Mac

Comments about the web site: Here's a joke for your book: Guy goes to a bar, talks to the bartender & tells him his wife is gone TDY all the time and he's always alone. The bartender tells him, no problem. I've got 3 frogs for sale for $50 that give the best blowjobs in the world. The customer declines, has a couple of cold ones on old Mac then... decides to take the bartender up on his offer. He takes the frog home and lives happily until the wife returns a week later. She enters the residence and quickly notices the living room is covered in flour, goes to other parts of the home and sees they are also covered in flour. Spouse and frog are drinking beer in front of the TV. Wife states "What in the Hell is going on", husband establishes eye contact and replies "Hon, when I teach this frog how to cook biscuits you're outa here."

Comments about the web site: You've always been an ass hole Mac and I never liked you or any of your friends but since I've got a lot of time on my hands, I do a lot of browsing now-a-days. And as web sites go, this ain't the worst. Plus, it may give me a chance to harass some of your asshole buddies that I had to put up with all those years. Just like you to invite everyone for a beer and not tell them where you are. You're probably too senile or wasted to know. Come visit me when you get a chance. RRW

Comments about the web site: Hi all. This is a GREAT site, glad I was told about it. I'm the wife of retired CCTer Gary R. Downing. I missed out on his military life as we did not get married until after he was out of the service. But,I have heard so much about it I feel I was there. I do have some prior military family life as I was married to an Army helicopter pilot during the Vietnam era. Gary told me about all the wonderful Combat Controllers and the ones he knew who had died, he doesn't talk about much, he gets to choked up. I have a Web site at: http://members.tripod.com/~mrskd/CCTMemorial.html that you may be interested in. It got started a couple of years ago and I keep on trying to refine it, so all in put is welcome. I started another site which got me in to this one and other military sites. I have come to know a lot of military people and belong to numerous E-mail groups. I feel like this is something I can do to pay respect to those who have given their life for my freedom. Sometimes I would wonder if I was doing any good for any one with these sites. Then I would get an e-mail from a soldier retired or active and they would say what it did for them being able to go and find a friend there. Some would tell me they couldn't go to the wall, they just weren't up to it yet after all these years. But being able to go to my site was like a stepping stone for them. I'm sorry back to why I started the site. I fell across http://geckocountry.com/mia.htm Which is one of Doc's pages which got me involved in Operation Just Cause http://www.ojc.org/ I found out I could do a page for Paul Foster, whom my husband had known very well. He had been wearing his bracelet for many years. Well, that's how it all got started. See I write too much, Mac you shouldn't have got me started. Thank you Mac for a great site! Have a Great Day Mrs. Karen Downing
Comments about the web site: I think this site is great. I have told all my friends about it. I am in the Air Force and I would like to say thank you for your service and as a CCT wanna bee keep livin to the fulliest. Comments about the web site: Excellent site Mac. There's a lot of history in those pictures. I think that I may have even been behind the camera on one of the ones submitted by Mark Hughes.
Comments about the web site: An awesome website! Who knew you had such talent?? Ten years now since I've seen anyone who even resembled a Combat Controller. The pictures were just great.

Comments about the web site: Hi. Mac I just found your web page the other day. Great work. It was fun looking through your pictures. You got some great stuff in there. Keep up the good work. If I can find some of my old pictures I'll send them your way. I'm living in South Weber, Ut now. I spent some time in Washington D.C. and found out city life wasn't for me. I have three kids now two boys 22 and 18 and one girl 16. I'm working for the State now, seams I can't keep out of government work. The pay isn't great but the work isn't that hard. So what do I have to complain about. I've gotten into fishing too and love to get out and do it as much as I can. I really have fun when I can catch one. I got into it when I was stationed in Little Rock. I bought Chotes old bass boat and had it docked at lake Momell. I'm fishing mountain streams now and really have a ball doing that. It's so refressing when I fall in. got to go now I'll be back. If your ever out this was look me up.

Comments about the web site: Cool. I was ROMAD (R30474P) with 601st Direct Air Support Center (now 4th ASOG) before the new TACP types were thought up. Served mostly in Europe, middle east, etc. Was scheduled to go to CCT in '74 (all ROMADS were additional duty radio pukes then, we had a choice in '74 to go CCT or TACP) but caught an 8mm round in Cyprus "observing" the Turks over run the place with the UN. Got to call in the first live CAS outside of VN, since the 60's! Paid the f...ers back! Amazing what several well placed anti-personnel packages will do! (BMP-116s) Because of the Turkish crap, I wound up back in radio maint, unable to jump again. WTF, who wants to be a leg after the good stuff? CCT and TACP required it, so........ I am setting up a site with links to as many USAF Spec Ops pages as possible this winter. With your kind permission, I will add yours. WhooYa! Rangers are sissies! USAF forever!
Comments about the web site: Mac, Enjoyed meeting you and Mrs Mac at the CCA reunion. Thanks again for the great website. Would like to thank Russ Dodd and Patrick Hall for their comments on the USAF Stars demonstration jump team. Jump demonstrations have always done a lot for public relations and always will. It's a great thing that the special tactics operators get the support they need. I would like to know more about the STARS. Maybe someone in the know will write an article for the CCA newsletter and get it to President Jim Gary for publication. I'm sure a lot of us old retired fuddy duddies who are way out of the loop would enjoy hearing about the men who are in there doing the work. Love and hugs. Willie T.
Comments about the web site: Sgt David McCracken's dad. I Retired while Dave was in Viet Nam. A really nice web site. I will be back often.
Comments about the web site: I think this is wonderful. My brother David McCracken is in a few of your pictures and it helps to remind me and my children how very proud we are of our country and all the young men who have sacrificed a lot in order for us to be able to live free. I thank you and all your buddies for making this possible for us. I have sent your address to a lot of people and I hope they enjoy it as much as I have.

Comments about the web site: Hi there, my husband Al has been bragging about your site for over a year. Unfortunately, I currently work for the Army and they put many restrictions on our internet use. In other words I was not able to open your site. But leave it to the Army to make bold strides, our computers were upgraded last month and we now have almost unlimited use of the internet. Love your site and your jokes. Ursula (Big Al Hudd's wife)
