Mac, I eyeballed the pictures your link took me to; (the above picture)   The second guy in the picture with Carl Choate looks a lot like Jim Brauch (pronounced Brock).

Jim was one of the Langley (4th Aerial Port) P304s in the late '60-early 70's. He's come to Langley from one of the DASFs at Osan AB, ROK. In the early 70s, he was sent to another TACP/FAC assignment in Aviano, Italy.

I'd last run into him in 1978-79 when I was at Pope and he was assigned to FAC duty with the 82nd at Bragg. He remained assigned to FAC stuff until retiring from active duty after Desert Storm where he was the senior AF enlisted guy/1st Sgt of the TACP troops assigned to the 82nd ABN.

The last I knew, he was living in Lockport, IL  teaching High School ROTC.  Here's a photo from our Langley days to check and compare.

Mac, I’m pretty sure it’s an aerial port or hospital guy, not a CCT.  The one in the middle with his back to the camera is me.  That’s Rose standing to the left and Vicky Copeland to the right..... Al Hooper

Note; The above picture doesn't show a whole lot, but I wanted to show the guys socializing.   However, since asking about a name, the responses produced quite a bit of information and a new picture.  Sometimes you just get lucky.  Thanks Guys!
